This visa is for individuals who wish to travel to Australia for a visit. It is intended for tourism purposes, business, as well as visiting relatives
and friends who reside in Australia.
The applicant must hold a passport from one of the following countries:
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, Republic of San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vatican City.
Applicants must apply from outside Australia and meet health and character requirements.
The ETA visa for Australia allows the holder to stay in Australia for 90 consecutive days (3 months). It is a multiple-entry visa with a total validity
of 12 months for entry to Australia. Travelers can enter and leave Australia multiple times until the ETA or corresponding passport expires, whichever comes first.
